My favorite recipe







It is one of my favorite recipes because it is very healthy, and easy to cook.

Rice with Chicken

Ingredients:

2 lb chicken (boneless skinless chicken thigh)
2 tablespoons oil
10 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 onion, finely sliced
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh ginger
2 ½ cups rice
4 cups water
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder (optional to add nice color)
3 tablespoons fish sauce
4 springs onions, finely sliced

Procedure:

Heat oil in a large frying pan and fry the garlic until golden brown. Remove and reserve. Add onion and ginger to pan and fry until soft, and then add chicken and fry, turning, until chicken is golden and half cooked. Add rice and stir fry for a few minutes, then return half the fried garlic to pan, add water and fish sauce. Bring to the boil, then turn heat low, cover tightly and cook 20 minutes without lifting lid. Serve garnished with reserved fried garlic and spring onions.

This recipe looks healthy and easy to make. Your pictures are beautiful and since this is your favoirte recipe, you probably make this often. No wonder why you look fit. As the saying goes "You are what you eat". This recipe looks so delicious that I will be making it today!
